About Advanced Chemical Industries PLC
ACI Limited, initially an ICI branch in East Pakistan, transformed into Advanced Chemical Industries (ACI) Limited after ICI's divestment in 1992. As one of the largest conglomerates in Bangladesh, ACI operates through four strategic business units: Health Care, Consumer Brands, Agribusinesses, and Retail Chain. The conglomerate contributes significantly to various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, consumer products, agriculture, and retail, impacting the lives of millions. ACI and its subsidiaries made substantial contributions of Taka 16,732 million to the National Exchequer during FY 2022-2023 through corporate tax, custom duty, and value-added tax.
