British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company Limited

British American Tobacco Bangladesh (BAT Bangladesh) has a rich history, starting as Imperial Tobacco over 112 years ago. After the partition of India in 1947, it became Pakistan Tobacco Company. The first factory in Bangladesh was established in 1949 in Chattogram, followed by another in Dhaka in 1965. Post-Bangladesh's independence, it transformed into Bangladesh Tobacco Company Limited and, in 1998, rebranded as British American Tobacco Bangladesh, aligning its identity with the global BAT Group.
