N.Spinning Mills Limited is a significant contributor to the production of Acrylic, Cotton, and Synthetic yarn in Bangladesh. The idea to add value within the country and create backward linkage for the Sweater Industry originated in 2003. Despite the inception of this sector in Bangladesh in 1986, the Sweater Industry has been heavily reliant on importing 100% of its raw materials from foreign countries since its inception, leading to a dependence on foreign nations for industrial development and economic progress. In response to this, Mr. Abdul Kader Faruk, the key figure behind FAR Group, envisioned covering the backward linkage, increasing value addition, and reducing the lead time for the supply of raw materials to the Sweater Industry. Notably, Mr. Abdul Kader Faruk had previously established a sweater factory in 1993 and a dyeing factory in 2001. After thorough consideration, exploration of various countries, and identifying suppliers of quality acrylic yarn raw materials, the decision was made to establish Acrylic, Cotton, and Synthetic Spinning Mills in Bangladesh.
